Ewing Hackles - Hen Capes

Hen capes have long, broad, soft natural feathers with round tips and a firm quill.

Fly tying uses of these feathers include dry fly wings, spinner wings, wet fly collars, popper tails, crayfish claws and fins for bait fish imitations.

Specifications:

• Majority of the feathers on these capes range from #14 to #16’s.
• Also plenty of #10’s and #12’s, however, you’ll find that there is a bit of webbing in these sizes.
